Later in the game, he actively lures the player deeper into the facility all the way in while stalking them but also slowing his pursuit when he realized that he had them cornered. When he is first shown, Huggy appears as a harmless giant stuffed toy or statue, standing perfectly still. However, despite his violent nature and lack of speech, Huggy Wuggy is not a mindless beast- he still has the capability of manipulating and formulating strategies to better capture his prey. The giant Huggy that chases the player, on the other hand, is a viscous, bloodthirsty predator whose only desire is to capture the player and eat them alive. In advertisements, Huggy Wuggy seems to be a jolly, happy-go-lucky creature who loves hugs and making children smile, a typical family-friendly cartoon mascot. Its implied that Huggy is at least partially organic, judging by its teeth and gums, the saliva dripping from its mouth, and the bloodstains left behind after it falls down a pit and smacks against a pipe on the way down. Being an animated stuffed toy, Huggy's limbs can bend and flex bonelessly with ease, which it uses to its advantage when chasing the player through the ventilation shafts, squeezing and crawling through the tight tunnels.
#Character animator mouths full
illustrations the inside of Huggy's mouth appears toothless with a normal-looking pink tongue, but the giant Huggy Wuggy is shown to have a mouth full of mismatched, needle-like teeth, along with a second set of similar teeth in the back of its throat, arranged in a circle like a lamprey. Commercially sold toy versions of Huggy Wuggy are around a foot in height, whereas the Huggy Wuggy displayed in the factory that eventually chases the player stands around 9-10 feet tall, most likely meant for display only.

He has two round eyes with large black pupils and a wide mouth with bright red lips, and his feet have opposable thumbs.

Huggy Wuggy is shown in the game as an enormous, blue-furred monkey-like creature, with long, lanky arms and legs, yellow hands and feet, and a large triangular head. It is unknown if it survived or has died due to this. Where the player survives, Huggy Wuggy ends up falling into the void while colliding with some pipes. If the player does manage to get to the catwalk, they must pull a box to block the creature and destroy it, causing them both to fall. Every time the player fails to reach the catwalk at the end of the belt, they are met with Huggy Wuggy snatching up and killing them with its teeth. It is not until the player runs into the dark that it will appear from the shadows and chase them down in the conveyor belt tunnels. As soon as the protagonist managed to grab the key and turn the power back on in a room (that requires said key), Huggy Wuggy disappears from his pedestal, and throughout the game, he stalks the player from vents or high unreachable places. His first appearance saw him pretend to be a statue to fool the protagonist. The toy soon became the most successful product of the company, but he was eventually modified at some point before the events of the game with a transferred, corrupt human conscience, which turned him into a monster.
